Organization accounts add permission-controlled roster, fleet, asset, intelligence and operation planning. Access depends on the permissions assigned to each account.
Data and model boundaries
Odyn imports versioned reference snapshots from Star Citizen Wiki and reported trade data from UEX. Hull renders are credited to FleetYards and Cloud Imperium Games. Each tool shows its source version or import date; reported prices and source availability flags do not guarantee live stock or mission availability.
The simulator is a planning model. It does not predict pilot skill or reproduce every game mechanic. Read the methodology and limitations before interpreting a result. Ship Builder calculations and combat calculations are separate models.
Support and issue reports
Contact Odyn on Discord ↗. Include the tool, data version, steps taken and the error message. For battle issues, export the plan and result if available.
Keep passwords, authenticator codes, recovery codes, private roster exports and access tokens out of public messages. Email private support for account, privacy or security requests. Include only what is needed to identify the issue; never send passwords or recovery codes.
Account access, correction, export and deletion requests can be sent through private support; Discord membership is not required. The general account-data notice describes the website. The separate Hangar Sync privacy policy describes the browser extension and its import data.
Release history
2.27.1 · Hangar import lifecycle and release consistency
Withdrawing scan consent before the preview upload prevents that upload.
Cancelling an unapplied import invalidates its preview; expired reviewer choices are cleared.
Release history and version details share one source, with separate FPS data-build labels.
Clarified supported FPS estimates, removed a duplicated simulator fallback and added private support contact.
Combat and FPS calculations, existing private visibility and published privacy policies are unchanged.
2.27.0 · Compact FPS comparison
Added a compact shots-and-time overview for the weapon catalogue, with live body-region, distance and armor selection. Full view expands the comparison without changing the damage model.
2.26.2 · Expanded PU weapon actions
Expanded the extracted FPS action timelines and special damage sources, including Parallax heat behavior and Atzkav electron effects. Analytical assumptions and unsupported branches remain identified in the comparison.
2.25.0 · Recorded battle demonstrations
Added a short simulator demonstration, a complete engagement replay, an explained engagement and transcripts. Videos load on request.
2.24.0 · Personal hangars
New
Every signed-in account can manage a private personal hangar and sync through the Chrome extension.
Manual and file-imported pledge claims use Self Reported Pledged. Exactly matched RSI extension snapshots receive a Pledged source label.
Approved Odyn members can receive separate organization fleet and operation-planning permissions from root.
Protected access
Private notes, import identifiers and other owners’ hangars stay restricted. Non Odyn accounts retain their private ships.
Operation pilot positions check the required hull against fresh extension-synced inventory.
Limits
Hangar sync is an on-request snapshot and does not independently verify ownership or RSI identity.
Citizen iD, live bot operation and radio launch remain separate work.
2.23.0 · PU infantry comparison
New
Select a hit location on a clickable body outline, with keyboard controls for all six regions.
Compare whole shots and ideal time to incapacitate using the extracted PU health profile.
See three distinct qualifying weapons ranked by the selected region, range, remaining health and armor.
Model limits
Ideal timing assumes landed hits and sufficient ammunition in one magazine. Shotguns assume every pellet hits.
Unvalidated burst, charged and nested schedules, special damage actions and capped armor remain excluded from timing rankings.
Regional injury pools, bleeding, finishing damage and permanent death are outside this estimate. Named helmet coverage remains absent from this snapshot.
2.22.1 · Command navigation
Fixed
Signed-out Command links open the sign-in screen and retain the requested organization destination. Public tools remain available without signing in.
2.22.0 · Public workflows and FPS comparison
New
Run a four-ship sample battle directly from the simulator.
Compare FPS weapon damage by range, firing state, body region and covering armor in the FPS weapon tool.
Send a Ship Builder loadout to a checked combat translation before adding it to either fleet.
Export and import a comparison baseline; download an issue report with optional fleet details.
Review account-data information and application, model and snapshot versions.
Improved
Ships and Trade use the public tools layout. Command has a separate address; older links still forward to their destination.
Comparisons include recorded ammunition and surviving shield conditions, plus notices for changed versions, seeds and scenario conditions.
Fixed
Saved power changes require review before replacing the stored build, with an original-build download.
Hangar Sync explains the preview transmission and visibility before a scan is started.
Removed the duplicated guide support section and repeated simulator fallback heading.
Known issues
Mixed equipment inside a grouped combat battery and changed hardpoint layouts may not transfer. Unsupported configurations are blocked and explained.
Combat keeps its stock support-system model; generator, cooling, propulsion and other differences are shown before transfer.
The FPS snapshot has no named helmet mappings. Use a covering-piece preset for head protection; unsupported damage and timing models remain unavailable.
2.21.1 · Whole-pip power allocation
Power controls assign whole pips only.
Automatic balancing and saved build exports use whole numbers.
Older fractional allocations can be rebalanced while retaining fitted equipment.
